This Women’s History Month, we are proud to work at a woman-owned firm.  Women have been actively prevented from pursuing careers in professional fields such as law throughout history, so we are grateful to live in a time and place where educational and professional opportunities are available to women.  That being said, the rates of women in leadership positions in law firms are still relatively low.  Only around 27.76% of law firm partners are women and around 23.7% of law firm equity partners are women.  There is clearly still work to be done but we are hopeful that we are moving towards a more equal profession!
